Virginia is an ordained minister at Northampton NTCG and serves as a member of the leadership team, specifically supporting the ministry of Sunday school and joint co-ordinator of Bible studies.
With a career background in social work and an advocate of lifelong learning, Virginia gained a Certificate in Intercultural Theology in 2003 and completed an MA in Pentecostal & Charismatic Studies in 2006.
During her tenure of National Chaplaincy Director (2018 – 2023) Virginia was instrumental in the:
• Formation of the Volunteer Chaplaincy Ministries Course (Levels 1 & 2) delivered by qualified chaplains and experienced course facilitators, and
• Development of a National Chaplaincy Brochure, spanning 31 years of chaplaincy (1992 – 2023). The Brochure was inspired by NTCG 70th Anniversary Convention in 2023.
Virginia retired from her role as hospital chaplain of 10 years in March 2024; but remains committed in mentoring and supporting others who may be interested in this area of ministry.
