Course overview
A study of ministry to diverse populations with emphasis on urban ministry settings. This course examines the responsibility of the church to embrace diversity and reach out to all people. It also considers the great potential for ministry in urban areas with the varied expectations and needs of a multicultural population.

After students complete this course, they will be able to:
- Discuss the theological basis for multicultural ministry.

- Identify the strengths and weaknesses of multicultural ministry.

- Discuss the importance of multicultural ministry in today’s society.

- Identify the role of the church in multicultural ministry.

- Embrace other cultures into their own churches or plant a cross-cultural church.

Meet the facilitator

Rev. Solomon John
MDiv, BA, BTh and Dip.Th

Solomon is an experienced Pastor and young Christian mission leader having the experience of cross-cultural ministries and leading community development projects. He worked in various leadership roles with the focus of evangelism and community development for International Christian organizations. He is passionate in training pastors, missionaries in Pastoral care, Christian Leadership, Evangelism and Church planting. Currently, he is working as Programme Consultant for the Seed Group, California US, part time. He is also teaching Pastoral Care and Counselling course in London school of Ministries and Theology.
